Why Meeting Intelligence Matters
Every team runs on meetings. And every meeting generates something valuable — decisions made, commitments given, action items assigned, context shared. The problem isn't the meeting itself. It's what happens to all that information the moment the call ends.
Someone writes partial notes. Someone else remembers it differently. The action items that were so clear on the call sit untracked in a Slack message or a buried doc. Three weeks later, a project stalls because no one can remember who agreed to what — or when.
This isn't a discipline problem. It's a systems problem. Most teams don't have a reliable way to capture what happens in their meetings, which means institutional knowledge quietly evaporates every single week.
Beaver AI is built to fix that.
What Beaver AI Actually Does
Beaver AI is an AI meeting notetaker that joins your calls, captures everything that happens, and delivers a structured summary to your inbox within minutes of the meeting ending.
But it does something most tools in this category don't: it works without ever recording your audio.
Instead of recording, Beaver reads live text captions during the call — the same captions your video platform generates in real time. It captures a full transcript with speaker identification and timestamps, then runs that transcript through AI to produce summaries, action items, and key decisions.
The result: a clean, organized record of your meeting delivered automatically, with zero audio files stored anywhere.
How It Works
Getting started takes about two minutes.
You can manually paste a meeting link before a call, or connect your Google Calendar and let Beaver join automatically. Once it's in the meeting, it runs silently in the background — capturing the live transcript as the conversation unfolds.
When the meeting ends, Beaver gets to work. Within minutes, you receive a structured summary: what was discussed, what was decided, and what each person is responsible for next.
No post-meeting cleanup. No hunting through notes. No "wait, did we agree on that?"
The Features That Matter
Live Transcription. Captures text in real-time as people speak — with speaker names and timestamps. No audio stored, ever.
AI Summaries & Action Items. Executive summary, key decisions, and extracted action items with assignees, due dates, and priorities — auto-generated after every meeting.
Calendar Auto-Join. Connect Google Calendar and Beaver joins scheduled meetings automatically — 2–5 minutes before start. Just admit Beaver when it knocks.
Commitment Tracking. Track verbal promises made in meetings — not just tasks. Open, fulfilled, and expired commitments give your team a clear accountability ledger across every meeting.
Pre-Meeting Briefings. 30 minutes before each meeting, Beaver emails you a personalised AI brief — past decisions, open actions, and context from previous conversations. Walk in prepared, every time.
The Lodge — Your Team Wiki. Every meeting Beaver summarises automatically feeds your team's knowledge base. Decisions, context, and history — searchable, always up to date, built without any extra effort.
Push to Your Tools. Send action items directly to Linear, GitHub, Notion, Jira, Asana, or Trello with one click. Post summaries to Slack or Discord. Beaver fits into how your team already works.
Meeting Templates. Choose a summary format matched to your meeting type — Sprint Planning, Sales Call, 1:1, Incident Postmortem, or General. The AI output is shaped to exactly what you need.
Analytics & Insights. Track meeting health scores, speaker time distribution, action item completion rates, and trends over time. See which meetings move the needle and which ones don't.
Beaver currently supports Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
Privacy First — and We Mean It
This is where Beaver AI is meaningfully different from most tools in this space.
Most meeting recording tools store audio files. That audio might be used to train AI models — by the tool itself or by its AI providers. It might sit on servers you don't control, subject to retention policies you didn't set.
Beaver's approach is different by design.
Because Beaver reads live text captions rather than recording audio, there are no audio files. Ever. Your conversations aren't stored as recordings. Your data is never used to train AI models. Beaver uses private AI models and does not send your data to third-party AI training pipelines.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. You can permanently delete any meeting's data at any time, and your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Beaver is GDPR compliant.
For teams in regulated industries, or any team that takes data handling seriously, this architecture matters.
Who It's For
Beaver AI is built for teams that run on meetings and can't afford to lose what happens in them.
That's most teams.
The Individual plan starts at $8/month (billed annually) with a 7-day free trial and no credit card required — which is a low-friction way to see whether it changes how your meetings work.
The Team plan adds compliance and audit logging, role-based access control, and SSO, with a 5-seat minimum. Enterprise plans include custom contracts, dedicated support, and on-premises options for organizations with stricter requirements.
Try It Free for 7 Days
If your team runs more than a handful of meetings a week, the math on lost context adds up fast. Decisions that weren't captured clearly, action items that fell through, commitments no one remembered making.
Beaver AI doesn't change how you run meetings. It just makes sure nothing that happens in them gets lost.
