What The Lodge Does
The Lodge is Beaver AI's auto-generated knowledge base. After each meeting, the AI identifies topics, decisions, and information worth preserving and creates or updates wiki-style pages automatically.
How it works:
- Topic extraction: The AI identifies distinct topics discussed in the meeting
- Page creation: For new topics, a wiki page is created with the relevant information, context, and source meeting
- Page updates: For existing topics, the relevant page is updated with new information from the latest meeting
- Staleness tracking: Pages that have not been updated recently are flagged, so you know which knowledge might be outdated
Why It Matters
Traditional wikis suffer from a single problem: someone has to write them. And then someone has to keep them updated. In practice, wikis become outdated the moment they are published because no one has time to maintain them.
The Lodge sidesteps this by generating and updating content from your meetings — the conversations where decisions are actually made and knowledge is actually shared. The wiki maintains itself because it is fed by the meetings your team is already having.
What Pages Look Like
Each Lodge page includes:
- A summary of the topic based on all meetings where it was discussed
- Key decisions related to the topic
